يسرنا الاعلان عن بداية التسجيل في
المدرسة الشتوية العربية الأولى للفيزياء الفلكية
التي ستحتضن فعالياتها جامعة القاضي عياض، بمدينة مراكش في المملكة المغربية، وذلك خلال الفترة الممتدة من الاثنين 28 نوفمبر إلى السبت 3 ديسمبر، .2016
وتحظى المدرسة الشتوية العربية الأولى للفيزياء الفلكية بدعم الاتحاد الفلكي الدولي (IAU) ، عبر مكتبه لتنمية علم الفلك (OAD) . ، وستكون فرصة للقاء والتعاون وتبادل المعرفة في الفيزياء الفلكية بين الطلبة الباحثين وعلماء الفيزياء الفلكية بمختلف الدول العربية، و تحفيزهم على البحث في الموضوع ، وبناء قاعدة مهنية قوية في هذا المجال بالعالم العربي.

Accommodations:
All on desk registrations will take place on Sunday 27 November 2016 from 15:00 to 19:00 at the University Club.
Classes will be held at amphitheater 10 , Faculty of Sciences Semlalia , University Cadi Ayyad of Marrakech.
Accommodation is provided on two sites: Tichka hotel, with which the organizing committee has negotiated special rates and University Club.
Financial Support:
We will be able to provide a full or partial financial support for a number of selected participants (depending on the funds). Therefore, all applicants are encouraged to ask for the support in the case that they (or their universities) cannot fund their participation. Full financial support for 15 students from the Arab countries (with 1 student/country) will be available; a limited number of partial supports will also be available. The financial support is assigned based on the financial need and scientific merit of the candidates.
In order to qualify for financial support, the applicant must provide and submit the following information by 5 July, 2016 :
- A cover letter
- Your comprehensive CV
- Two signed recommendation letters (to be sent directly by the person who recommends you to this address: fawsa@ar-as.org)
- A Short motivation statement (explain why it's important for you to attend FAWSA and briefly state your expectations from this summer school)
Fees:
The winter school fee is 300 EUR per participant. The fee covers registration, lodging at University Club House, school material, lunches and coffee breaks during the winter school days, shuttle bus services, and a trip to the Oukaimeden observatory. The fee does not cover, telecommunications usage, private transport, or any other personal expenses. Registration will not be confirmed until payment is received.
